Goodbye China party

As most of our travel mates are departing today, our 'Goodbye China' party was last night. We had a great meal and then were treated to some entertainment. For our travel mates and other FOI-ers who are following this blog, it was in the same location as last time and you'll recognize the cake and the fire-hazardous candle!

Ren wasn't sure what to think about the clown:
And Claire was scared of this guy:

That's OJ in Claire's Tsingtao glass.

By the way, the clip in Claire's hair says "Big Sister". It was a special gift from a close friend. Claire proudly wore her beautiful clip many days of our trip.

And finally, the candle ...

That's funny, I was just thinking about that candle the other day! Yulin must buy them by the caseload. :)

It's hard to believe you'll be on your way home tomorrow! If you don't post again this will be my last chance to wish you a safe and happy flight home. I wish I could be at the airport to be part of the welcoming committee!

Ha ha ha! That is quite the fire hazardous candle! What are they thinking over there? Hilarious, great finale shot to that post.

And Ren is quite the flexible kid. Geoff always commented everyone in my family is flexible, so who knows, maybe he's got some chinese acrobat blood in him :-)

Cool that you had a goodbye China party. Great memories that will stay with you always.

I remember that being such a great party! I think Maeve would be freaked out by the Chinese Opera guy now too and the loud music. How different it is with toddlers as opposed to babies.
