Okay, we have an adaptor now (minutes after I last posted) so here's the second installment of our Disneyland adventure.
Claire was really tired in the afternoon but fought her nap big-time. She couldn't even work up any enthusiasm when meeting Mulan.
After Claire's nap, we changed her into her Belle dress, a surprise for her that we packed from home. Paul said that she looked so proud when she came running toward him from the washroom after I changed her. Here she is moments after transforming into a princess:
Once Claire was rested, she was finally willing to try some rides. Paul took her on the teacups and the carousel. He was hoping for more but that was as adventurous as she would get (which was more than me!).
It was definitely a tiring day but also a wonderful day, full of happy moments. It was our 'last hurrah' as a family of three and it definitely lived up to all expectations.

Seeing Claire makes me miss my girl...but soon enough I'll have another little girl to take my mind off of it for now.

Wow, I have so many goosebumps it's ridiculous! I didn't have time to check last night and now there are 3 posts! OMG. I'm glad you sound so happy and relaxed. Not that I expected anything else, just that things have gone so well, I'm so happy for all of you! Can't believe you're so close to him. Have a great forever family day. We think of you all the time.

OK, this just seems to surreal for me! So cool to be able to see what you're up to and follow along on your trip to Ren.
Claire looks adorable in her Mickey shirt and ears and only you would think to take along a Belle dress to make her feel like a princess for a day! I'm sure she feels like a princess every day, but to be a princess at Disney is very extra-special indeed!

I cannot believe you are actually there! Claire looks beautiful and it is awesome that you can have this one special day with her before Ren joins you all... but once he is there that will be the best gift of all! I can hardly wait to see Monday....

The pictures are precious! I love Claire in her Belle dress (and her mouse ears too), what a special time for the three of you!
Thinking of you as you get closer and closer to Ren. Your heart is about to grow by a size as you wrap your arms around your boy. A mother's love is an amazing thing . . . as I have added children I have never felt like my love had to be divided, rather it multiplied by leaps and bounds . . . into new love for a precious new child. My heart rejoices as you prepare to experience that multiplying love!

Hello! I have bee thinking of you guys all week and every time - I get all weapy! LOVE the photos of Dysney and so great to have a last whaho! as a family of 3 - Be in the moment, baby, cause it flies by. Remember, you have an entire villiage thinking of you back here as your next days unfold. Ren - can't wait to welcome you home, little man.
